A boy found an eagle's egg and he put it in the nest of a prairiechicken.The eagle hatched and thought he was a chicken.He grew up doing whatprairie chicken do-scratching at the dirt for food and flying short distanceswith a noisy fluttering of wings.It was a dreary life.Gradually the eagle grewolder and bitter.One day he and his prairie chicken friend saw a beautiful birdsoaring on the currents of air,high above the mountains.

One windy spring day， I observed young people having fun using the wind tofly their kites。 Multicolored creations of varying shapes and sizes filled theskies like beautiful birds darting and dancing。 As the strong winds gustedagainst the kites， a string kept them in check。
Instead of blowing away with the wind， they arose against it to achievegreat heights。 They shook and pulled， but the restraining string and thecumbersome tail kept them in tow， facing upward and against the wind。 As thekites struggled and trembled against the string， they seemed to say， “Let me go!Let me go! I want to be free!” They soared beautifully even as they fought therestriction of the string。 Finally， one of the kites succeeded in breakingloose。 “Free at last，” it seemed to say。 “Free to fly with the wind。”
Yet freedom from restraint simply put it at the mercy of an unsympatheticbreeze。 It fluttered ungracefully to the ground and landed in a tangled mass ofweeds and string against a dead bush。 “Free at last” free to lie powerless inthe dirt， to be blown helplessly along the ground， and to lodge lifeless againstthe first obstruction。
How much like kites we sometimes are。 The Heaven gives us adversity andrestrictions， rules to follow from which we can grow and gain strength。Restraint is a necessary counterpart to the winds of opposition。 Some of us tugat the rules so hard that we never soar to reach the heights we might haveobtained。 We keep part of the mandment and never rise high enough to get ourtails off the ground。
Let us each rise to the great heights， recognizing that some of therestraints that we may chafe under are actually the steadying force that helpsus ascend and achieve。

Again the man screams,"You are achampion!" The voice answers,"You are a champion!" The boy is surprised, butdoes not understand.
Then the father explains,"People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE.It gives you back everything you say or do. Our life is simply a reflection ofour actions. If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart.If you want more competence in you team, improve your competence. Thisrelationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life. Life will give youback everything you have given to it."
